An uninsured
motorist is a person who does not have any bodily
injury coverage to compensate
you. A motorist who does not have enough bodily injury
coverage to compensate you for your injuries is underinsured. This insurance
may also be used to compensate you for injuries sustained as the
result of a hit and run accident.
In most cases, you will be able to collect for
your lost wages, medical bills, pain and suffering, etc., in
the same way as if the driver that hit you did have insurance.
We ask that you provide us with a complete copy of your own insurance
policy in force at the time of the accident.
